OUT CONVOCATION AND GRADUATION
Dear ALL
We are pleased to announce that the Annual
Convocation will be held at Mwinyi Hall, from 8am,
on Thursday 24th October 2013. All Alumni, OUT
Staff, and OUT well wishers are invited. Prospective
graduands are also invited.
Furthermore, the 25th Graduation Ceremony of the
Open University of Tanzania will be held at Bungo,
Kibaha, on Saturday 26th October, 2013 as scheduled.
Graduating candidates must be at the venue by 08.00
am, on the day of graduation, for a dress rehearsal
and roll call. Only names of candidates present at the
roll call will be read during the ceremony.
We remind that only those candidates who have
completed payment of university fees are allowed to
attend the ceremony. Gowns will be borrowed
at a non refundable fee of Tsh 50,000= (Fifty
Thousand) which has to be deposited into the OUT –
IGU Account, NBC Corporate branch, Acc no.
011103033490.
Those who complete financial clearance from the DFA
may collect Graduation gowns at Bungo, Kibaha, from
Monday 21st October, 2013.
A graduation book with names of all graduands will
also be available at the Stores at the price of
Tsh 2,000 each. All payments must be made through
the bank.
Once again, we wish to congratulate all those who
have successfully completed their studies.

EXTENSION OF DEADLINE.......................................
ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL POSTGRADUATE
STUDENTS
SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR
SUBMITTING HARD BOUND COPIES OF THESES
AND DISSERTATIONS.
This is to inform all prospective graduands from
amongst Postgraduate students, that the
deadline for submission of hard bound copies of
Theses and Dissertations is 4th October, 2013.
Senate Meets on 7th October to Approve final
list of graduands.
The extension is final, and any theses/
dissertations presented after the deadline
will only be considered for the 26th graduation
ceremony in 2014.
We wish to congratulate all those who have
met all requirements for graduation.
